PEPE says he wants to retire at Real Madrid.
The Portugese defender has been at the Bernabeu since 2007 and won the Champions League and La Liga twice in his 339 appearances.
At the age of 33, the centre-back has entered the final year of his contract and is yet to be offered the two-year deal he craves.
And his situation led to reports he would consider a move to Chelsea.
Pepe is free to talk to interested clubs from January 1 and the Mirror say his representatives believe Chelsea are keen.
But Pepe has clarified his future, insisting he wants to remain at Real until the end of his career.
"I am calm. I want to help Madrid, the club I love,' he told Spanish TV station Antena 3.
"I am at peace.
"I hope the club call me first to resolve this [contract] situation. I am calm, people in the club know that this is my home.
"I have already said that I expect to be with Madrid until the last second [of his career].
"My goal is to retire here."
