EDEN HAZARD has told Chelsea’s defenders to stop conceding - so the strikers can keep winning them games.
Hazard scored his third goal of the season for Chelsea in their comfortable 3-0 win over champions Leicester on Saturday.
Chelsea recorded their second successive clean sheet against the Foxes following their 2-0 win over Hull, which got Antonio Conte’s side back on track after tough defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal.
The Blues take host Manchester United on Sunday (4pm) as they look to continue their mini resurgence.
And Belguim international Hazard has bluntly told his team-mates to keep out Jose Mourinho’s side so Chelsea’s forwards can punish them at the other end.
“Like against Hull City, when you don’t concede goals you know it is easier to win games,” Hazard told the Chelsea website.
“When you are strong defensively you bring confidence to all the team, and it is more easy to score goals.”
Chelsea are fifth in the Premier League with 16 points from eight games, having conceded nine and scored 15.
