JOSE MOURINHO says he has no problem with Wayne Rooney after the England captain returned to Manchester United this week.
Wayne Rooney was sent home from the England camp on Monday after suffering a knee injury in last week's 3-0 win over Scotland.
Images have emerged of the 31-year-old partying into the early hours of Sunday morning at a wedding being hosted at the England team hotel.
It is claimed Rooney could soon be stripped of the England captaincy.
But Mourinho insists it has been business as usual at Manchester United's Carrington training ground as they prepare to face Arsenal tomorrow (12.30pm).
“Over the last two or three days nothing happened, he trained like everybody else, he wants to play like everybody else, he’s read," Mourinho said.
What happened in the national team happened in the national team, I don’t comment.
“My players when they go there belong to the national team and I don’t like to comment.
“Sometimes they come back stronger than when they left us because something good happened there, positive for them, other times injuries, sometimes big injuries, sometimes frustrations because they didn’t play or the result was bad.
“In this case, we knew what didn’t go well but the national team is a different chapter and is closed now until March.”
