Antonio Conte Declares Eden Hazard and Diego Costa fit for Middlesbrough

ANTONIO CONTE has declared Eden Hazard and Diego Costa fit for Chelsea's match with Middlesbrough.
Both players were doubts after picking up knocks on international duty, but Conte says both are ready to play on Sunday.

The Blues head to the Riverside at 4pm.

Hazard has been in top form this season as Chelsea have moved up to second in the league while Costa is the league's top scorer with nine goals.

On Hazard: "Yeah, he recovered very well."

Asked if he was worried Costa and Hazard would be injured for long he said: "I'm always worried when I see that there is a player in my squad who is not able to play the game.

"But in this case when there is an international break and you are a bit worried for your players.

"It's important to play for the national team and until now, so far, we have been lucky because no one player has come back from the international break injured."



Chelsea briefly went top of the league after beating Everton 5-0 in the last round of games before Liverpool battered Watford.

They have won five in a row since Conte switched to three at the back at half time during the defeat to Arsenal.

In those five games Chelsea kept five clean sheets and have begun being taken seriously as a title challenger.
