PAUL POGBA scored twice as Manchester United eased to victory against Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
After a slow start United went close when Juan Mata crossed for Anthony Martial, but the Frenchman could only head wide.
The Red Devils were then given the chance to open the scoring when Simon Kjaer bundled over Mata in the box.
Pogba took the resulting spot kick and swept the ball low and hard into the corner to give United the lead.
Almost immediately after Jose Mourinho’s side were awarded another penalty when Martial was pulled down by Sener Ozbayrakli.
This time it was Martial who stepped up to slam the ball home.
Pogba had time to add to United’s tally before the break, smashing home a curling strike into the top corner form 30 yards out.
Manchester United scored their fourth early in the second half when Jesse Lingard smashed the ball into the bottom corner from 20 yards out.
With the game won, United seemed unsure whether to push on for more or not, and they were almost caught out when former Red Devil Robin van Persie struck from distance, but his shot curled wide of the post.
Van Persie did manage to score a consolation late on for Fenerbahce, but it was too late for the Turkish side to make a comeback and United went home with the three points.
