This is what I thought of Chelsea’s win over Manchester City - Antonio Conte

ANTONIO CONTE insists Chelsea must continue to improve after they secured their eighth win in a row with victory against Manchester City.
Chelsea got off to a bad start at the Etihad, with Gary Cahill’s own goal putting Manchester City ahead.

But second-half strikes from Willian, Costa and Eden Hazard secured the 3-1 victory.

And Conte was delighted his side secured the comeback win.

I think today was very tough and the game was open until the end,” Conte told Sky Sports.

“There were lots of chances for both teams to score.

"I saw lots of character from my team and that's very important to grow.

But we must continue to work and improve."

Conte handed Cesc Fabregas his first appearance since September at the Etihad, and the Italian added he was delighted with the midfielder’s performance.

"He played a good game - I know I can always count on him,” Conte said.
