PAUL POGBA is being ‘dragged all over the place’ and still ‘hasn’t found his position’ at Manchester United, according to on-loan Manchester City star Samir Nasri.
Pogba, 23, has been played in a variety of positions by Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho since his world record £89million return to Old Trafford from Juventus in the summer.
United have won just five of their opening 11 Premier League games and sit in sixth spot in the table.
But Nasri, who is on loan at Sevilla from Manchester City, reckons United would reap the rewards further if Mourinho harnessed Pogba’s talent and used him properly.
“In terms of pure talent, he's a phenomenon. But his performances on the pitch still aren't worthy of his talent,” said Nasri.
In terms of quality, but not yet in terms of what he produces, he makes me think of Yaya Toure. He's a player who can get forward.
“He has one problem: He still hasn't found his position. At United, they have dragged him about all over the place - behind the striker, a little deeper, as a No. 8.
“When he plays as a No. 8 on the right, people say he should be on the left when I think they're the same thing. He's lacking that little something.”
Pogba has scored four goals in 14 appearances for United across all competitions and is likely to be deployed against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Saturday (12.30pm).
