Chelsea News: Diego Costa declared fit to face Middlesbrough: Antonio Conte sweats on three Other stars

DIEGO COSTA is fit to face Middlesbrough on Sunday (4pm) after recovering from a groin injury, according to reports.
Costa fit

Chelsea feared Diego Costa could miss the clash at Middlesbrough after he sat out of Spain's two games during the international break.

The striker is said to have been hoping to face England on Tuesday night but was hampered by the injury.

But Chelsea should have him 100 per cent ready for the trip to the Riverside.

That is according to the Sun, who claim Costa has declared himself fit for Sunday's game.
Costa has scored nine goals for Chelsea this season, helping them into second in the Premier League and just a point off leaders Liverpool.

The 28-year-old appears to have found the form he was lacking for long periods of last season.

Chelsea waiting on Hazard, Courtois and Azpilicueta

The report adds that Chelsea are still assessing the fitness of Thibaut Courtois, Eden Hazard and Cesar Azpilicueta ahead of the weekend.
Hazard and Courtois both played in Belgium's 8-1 win over Estonia on Sunday. Hazard is said to have picked up a calf injury during the clash, while Courtois has admitted he may have to see an eye doctor after suffering a bloodshot eye.

As for Azpilicueta, the full-back escaped serious injury following a strong challenge from Jamie Vardy in Spain's 2-2 draw with England at Wembley.
