The Portuguese posted a picture of himself holding the scarf on his Instagram account with a caption, which read 'if you want to visit the country of the European champions visit Portugal'.
It capped off a particularly busy day for the United manager who had been at Wimbledon hours earlier.
Mourinho was pictured in the Centre Court crowd as Andy Murray beat Milos Raonic to win his second Wimbledon men's singles title.
And when the 53-year-old returned from SW19, he settled down to his watch his country try to win their first European Championship.
