Watch - Javier Hernandez (Chicharito) scores cracker for Mexico - Reminds Mancheter United what they're missing

There are many reasons Man United fans were glad to see the back of Louis van Gaal.
Boring football. Their failure to qualify for the Champions League. His constantsexual innuendos in press conferences.

But chief among fans' complaints about the Dutchman was his disastrous transfer policy - a transfer policy which saw him sell Javier Hernandez to Bayer Leverkusen last summer and leave their side with Ashley Young as a back-up striker.

Javier Hernandez (or Chicarito, if you prefer) has spent his time since making that decision look very silly… by banging in goals for fun. At one point this season, the little Mexican was performing better in front of goal than the Whole of Manchester United's squad combined.

And as we see above, he's still scoring crackers even now the season is over. Just check out the clip and admire his header in Mexico's win against Chile.

It's a beauty of a finish, for a number of reasons.
It gave his nation a 1-0 win in their final Copa America warm-up.
He scored it on his 28th birthday.

And most importantly of all, it reminded everyone just how wrong LvG was to flash this look after a Hernandez error in one of his final Man United appearances:
