President Buhari to proceed on a 10 days vacation to London for health reasons

This was contained in a statement by Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman.

A press statement  released by the Presidency through its spokesperson - Mr. Femi Adesina with regards to a 10-day vacation trip to the UK,  President Buhari is about to undertake, to enable him to rest and also see an E.N.T (Ear. Nose. Throat) Specialist in London. The statement reads,


President Muhammadu Buhari will take 10 days off and travel to London on Monday June 6th to rest. During the holiday, he will see an E.N.T. specialist for a persistent ear infection.

The President was examined by his Personal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja and was treated. Both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purely as a precaution.

It reads: “President Muhammadu Buhari will take 10 days off and travel to London on Monday June 6th to rest.
