Spain captain Iker Casillas and his wife Sara Carbonero presented their new baby Lucas in Madrid on Monday.
The 35-year-old former Real Madrid goalkeeper showed off his second child with Carbonero outside Ruber International Hospital and will know turn his attention to preparing for Euro 2016, where Spain will try and defend their title for the third successive tournament.
Casillas and sports reporter Carbonero started dating in 2009 and caused a media frenzy when they kissed following an interview after Spain won the World Cup in South Africa.
The pair had their first child, Martin, in 2014 and got married in March this year in a secret ceremony with no guests.
Carbonero, 32, worked for Spanish T.V channel Telecinco from 2000 until 2015 when she relocated to Portugal with her husband, who signed for Porto from Real.
32-year-old sports reporter Carbonero is also a model and met Casillas at the Confederations Cup in 2009
The couple met in 2009 when Casillas was playing in the Confederations Cup in South Africa and Carbonero was reporting on the match between Spain and the United States.
Since then they have gone on to become one of the most famous couples in Spain but prefer to stay away from the spotlight when possible.
Carbonero posted a photo of baby Lucas three days ago with the message 'Welcome to the world, Lucas!'
Casillas' Spain play Georgia in a pre-Euro 2016 friendly in Getafe on Tuesday, and coach Vicente Del Bosque is keen to see an improvement in his side's form performance after their catastrophic display in the 2014 World Cup.
'To win the title cannot be an obligation. There is always an important lesson to be learned when you lose.' Del Bosque said.
Casillas and Carbonero got married in a secret ceremony with no guests in Madrid earlier this year
'We go into the tournament with the maximum ambition and that is to defend the title that we achieved four years ago,
'It's the same situation that we were in at Euro 2012 but with a bit more responsibility because we now have to defend two straight titles.'
