Euro 2016: Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to set tongues wagging over proposed Manchester United move

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be hoping his Sweden side can progress to the latter stages of Euro 2016 despite his move to Manchester United being put on hold while they remain in the competition.
The outgoing PSG man was put through his paces alongside his Sweden team-mates as they geared up for their Group E clash with the Republic of Ireland.

Ibrahimovic has been told he will not be allowed to leave Sweden's base to finalise a move to United during this summer's European Championship in France.

Sweden and Ireland will go head-to-head at the Stade de France on Monday afternoon, with Ibrahimovic expected to lead Erik Hamren's side.

Hamren, speaking to Swedish newspaper Goteborgs-Posten, said of speculation linking Ibrahimovic with a summer move to Old Trafford: 'Players have their leisure time on the schedule - there's nothing I can control.
'But it would not be okay for Zlatan to fly to Manchester.

'I'm 100 per cent sure it will not affect Zlatan. He has been in the business a long time.
'I understand there is a lot of Zlatan media. Not only in Sweden. I understand that.

'But with us, it is nothing. He handles it perfectly. The players are familiar with it.

'You can be calm - there is nothing that has affected us negatively in the group. Absolutely nothing.'
Sweden's upcoming opponents - Ireland - have received a timely boost ahead of Monday's match as Robbie Brady has been declared fit.

Brady has recovered from a freak back injury after lifting his daughter out of the bath and is set to start when Ireland face Sweden on Monday.
