Jose Mourinho could live in North Wales during his tenure as Manchester United manager.
The Portuguese, who was confirmed as the Red Devils' new boss on Friday, is said to have viewed this £3.9million CASTLE twice in recent weeks.
The secluded Castell Gyrn, which is located just outside the Welsh town of Ruthin, is just an hour's drive from Manchester.
From the outside looking in, the mansion looks as if it is hundreds of years old, but it is in reality one of the youngest castles in Wales at just 39-years-old.
Complete with draught exclusion, underfloor heating and double glazing, it also has a huge Welsh dragon which breathes fire when vehicles enter the gates.
A source said: “Castell Gyrn is unique. He will be made very welcome if he does decide to come to.
"He could come to our local village show if he is not too busy.”
The castle is in huge contrast to Mourinho’s £16million home in London’s Belgravia.
A third-floor staircase takes you to the tower rooftop and there is a separate lodge and a two-bed cottage.
The home was built by London architect John Taylor.
The current owner, businessman Jeff Thompson, said when he put it up for sale: “It’s a beautiful spot with some of the best views in North Wales.”
He did not respond to requests for comment.
