JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE’S ‘’CAN’T STOP THE FEELING’’ MURDERS DRAKE’S ‘DANCE’ ON SPOTIFY.

Justin Timberlake and Drake are two talented contenders on the charts right now, although they hold different genres. We watch them battle over streaming vs. downloads on Spotify’s Hot 100 list.

While the latter might own the most streams for his song Dance, the former’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling! leads based on good old digital download sales.

Drake’s song Dance Ft Wizkid and Kayla, off his latest studio album Views – made Spotify’s Hot 100 list after knocking out Justin Beiber, whose songs such as Sorry, Love Yourself and What Do You Mean off his Purpose album that made him the most-streamed artist.

Drake’s place, however, was toppled by Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling”! This solidly leads at the number one spot of the streaming service’s Hot 100 list after its debut last week.

While Drake might be winning by having the most streams, Timberlake is counting cash with the most digital download sales. Can’t Stop The Feeling earned $379,000 ie N75, 511,960.

Nevertheless, Drake’s accomplishment should be recognized as his album Views was an Apple Music exclusive during its first two weeks of release. Even with only a few tracks available on Spotify and other streaming music services, it went on to sell over a million copies so far.

According to Tech Times, it is the first album released this year to achieve such feat.
