IN-FORM STRIKER FERNANDO TORRES - OFFERED A NEW TWO-YEAR DEAL – TO FINISH HIS CAREER AT A''MADRID

Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres has been offered a new two-year deal with his boyhood club, according to reports from Madrid, Spain.

The former Chelsea and Liverpool forward has been in fine fettle over the last three months, netting 9 goals in 18 matches.

While his future is not decided, Spanish newspaper AS report a new deal is on the table with Torres yet to decide whether to sign on the dotted line.

The 32-year-old is said to want his future wrapped up before the Champions League final on May 28, when Atletico play city rivals Real Madrid.

Torres is technically still an AC Milan player on loan at the Vicente Calderon, but he is out of contract at the end of the season and his Milan career is over.

Teams in America and China are both reportedly interested in the striker, who has a number of options to choose from before tying himself down to a contract

Torres' offer is said to have been laid out to the striker before Atletico Madrid's Champions League quarter-final tie at Barcelona, in which he scored.

Just 10 minutes later, he was sent off, but went on to net in his next three matches to help his side keep up their title challenge at the top of La Liga.
Torres began his career at the Vicente Calderon, but moved on to Liverpool for a successful four-year spell in 2007.
