Nigeria Labour congress took to street in protest for fuel price hike. The labour congress gathered citizens carrying placards and microphones, protesting the increment across the country.

The Nigerian Labour union  defied a court order which bans the labour union  from launching a general strike in protest at a planned hefty increase in fuel prices, though many businesses and government offices opened as normal.

The Labour union were intercepted by the security officer, trying to put an end to the peaceful demonstration going on around the country, claiming there was a court injunction restraining the Labour union from engaging in such protest.
